Events

We participate in various events throughout the year! Some events help us to raise money that we, in turn, donate to worthy charities in our area, and other events directly help our community, like picking up all the trash along MD Route 2 from Rt. 258 north to the Lothian traffic circle!

We also participate in local holiday parades to get our "word" out!
​
We give back to the community with Donations and Scholarships!  We also deliver Rudy Bears for Local Fire Departments, and visit Veterans at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

Rudy Bear

Rudy Bear is the Official mascot of the Ruritan national organization.

 A part of the money we raise goes to purchasing mini stuffed "Rudy Bears" which are then donated to local Fire Departments to be given to all small children who are transported by ambulance.

Rudy Bear also tends to show up at Lothian Ruritan events to socialize!​
